Brand New Colors · Template catalog

Six operating systems, each built from a real business.

Every template was shaped by sitting with a working owner-led business and encoding what was actually there — the records, the connections, the views people open first. Each one ships as a paid bundle that includes the template and onboarding, with deeper support tiers above.

A free, unsupported version of each template lives on the Notion Marketplace. The paid bundles here add onboarding, a diagnostic read, or a full build — depending on which rung fits.

Three rungs per template

The same template ships at three depths of support. Start at the rung that matches the help you want.

The Template + onboarding session — from $99
Onboarding + diagnostic read — $999
Full build done alongside you — from $3,500
Two ways to use these templates

The Marketplace version. The paid bundle on this site.

The Notion structure itself is the same in both places. What differs is what surrounds it. The free version is for owners who want to figure it out themselves. The paid bundle is for owners who want the system understood, fitted, or built around their actual business.

Each card links to the template’s own page, with the full section list, fit criteria, and checkout for all three rungs. Pricing starts at $99.

Maker · craft business

Wood Business

For the maker who is also the business — furniture, milling, turning, firewood, or custom commissions where you quote it, build it, and sell it yourself.

Six sections Orders & commissions, shop projects, materials & inventory, customers, pricing & quotes, and sales channels — tied so a quote starts from real material cost and a sale closes with real margin.

Jewish community operations

Shalom Desk

A working hub for synagogues, day schools, and Jewish community organizations — the membership life of the kehilla held in one structure your office team can open without routing through the rabbi or director.

Eight areas Households, lifecycle events, programs, donations, clergy scheduling, building use, and pastoral care — connected so a yahrzeit, a bar mitzvah, and a hall rental all surface against the same household record.

Owner-led operations

Business Operating System

The general-purpose operating shape for service businesses, professional firms, and owner-led companies that need strategy, sales, delivery, finance, and knowledge held in one place.

Eight functions Strategy, sales, delivery, finance, marketing, operations, team, and knowledge — the operating layer most owner-led businesses end up reinventing in spreadsheets, kept here in one connected workspace.

Regulated retail

High Risk Retail Ops

Compliance-heavy retail run with discipline — CBD, vape, alcohol, firearms, or adjacent. The audit binder, the renewal calendar, and the SOP training record kept as a working habit instead of a quarterly scramble.

Six sections Compliance & licensing, inventory controls, vendors, SOPs & training, incident & loss log, and audit prep — structured so a license carries its renewal date and audit prep is opening a view, not assembling paper overnight.

Dispatch & fleet

Private Transport

For black-car, executive transport, and private dispatch operators running two to twenty vehicles — bookings on one side, vehicles and drivers on the other, reconciled at the end of each week.

Nine areas Bookings, clients, riders, vehicles, drivers, invoices, maintenance, compliance, and reports — tied so a single ride record carries the driver, the vehicle, the rate, the invoice, and the compliance detail in one place.

Property operations

Rental Ops

Small and mid-sized landlords running 5 to 100 units — the operating layer that sits beside whatever property management software you use, kept legible so the owner can read the portfolio’s state.

Eight areas Units, tenants, leases, rent, maintenance, vendors, renewals, and owner visibility — structured so a lease carries its renewal date, a maintenance ticket carries the vendor and cost, and the portfolio state is one view away.

How every template is sold

Three rungs, the same shape across all six templates.

How to pick

The path from this page to a running operating system.

1

Find the closest shape

Read the six cards above and click into the template whose description recognizes your operation. The detail page covers the full section list, the fit criteria, and checkout for all three rungs.

2

Pick the depth of support

The Template if you want orientation before you start. Guided Start if you want your business read and the template fitted to it. Fitted Workspace if you want Jacob building the operating layer with you.

3

Run a real month through it

Every self-install tier includes a 30-day guarantee. Load real records, work the system, and confirm the structure earns its place before you decide on a higher rung.

When no template recognizes your business

If the gap is structural, the diagnostic comes before the system.

When none of the six templates recognizes your operation, that gap is itself a signal. The right starting point is the Operating Model Read — a structural diagnosis of how the business actually runs, with the primary constraint named before any system is built.

The 20-minute fit call is the front door for figuring out which path is yours.

Common questions

Before picking a template.

Why pay for what’s free on the Notion Marketplace?
The Notion structure is the same in both places. The paid bundle adds the work that turns a duplicated workspace into a running operating system — an onboarding session, a diagnostic read in Rung 02, or the full build in Rung 03. You pay for the help around the file.
Can I move up a rung later?
Yes. The amount paid at a lower rung credits in full toward a higher one. Start at $99 if the operation is straightforward and step up when the deeper work earns its place.
Do I need to know Notion?
A free Notion account and point-and-click comfort covers it. The structure arrives built; your part is loading your records. The onboarding session in every rung walks the architecture before you start.
My business doesn’t match any of the six exactly.
If one recognizes the general shape of how your work runs, that one is the right starting point — the workspace is yours to retool after purchase, and Rung 02 or 03 includes the fitting work. When the gap is large, the 20-minute fit call names which path is actually right, including whether the Operating Model Read should come before any template.
Where does checkout happen?
On each template’s own page — for example, /templates/business-operating-system. You’ll see the three rungs, the full section list for that template, and an embedded checkout for whichever rung you pick.
